Passport, visa and health requirements vary from country to country. Contact your travel agent or the nearest Ethiopian ticket office for current passport, visa and health requirements of the countries you are planning to travel to.
Many countries require proof of return/onward and sufficient funds for your stay. Please contact the nearest Consulate of the country to which you are traveling to for additional information.
Passengers traveling on Ethiopian Airlines between Vienna and Copenhagen who require entry visa to Schengen countries must have a valid multiple Schengen visa. Passengers holding a single-entry Schengen visa cannot travel on Ethiopian Airlines flight between Copenhagen and Vienna. This is because the flight is operated as transit flight carrying international passengers beyond European airports.
Passengers traveling on Ethiopian Airlines between Oslo and Stockholm who require entry visa to Schengen countries must have a valid multiple Schengen visa. Passengers holding a single-entry Schengen visa cannot travel on Ethiopian Airlines flight between Oslo and Stockholm. This is because the flight is operated as transit flight carrying international passengers beyond European airports.
Passport is required for all passengers (even with resident permit or citizenship of a Schengen country) when traveling on Ethiopian Airlines between Stockholm and Oslo /Vienna and Copenhagen and vice versa.
If you are traveling with children, please make sure to be in possession of valid unabridged birth certificate and/or adoption certificate or certificate of guardianship as applicable, to avoid last minutes inconvenience.
Note that the rules are valid for all children whether they are biological, adopted or just travelling together!!

1. Passengers travelling with child to South Africa
All children under the age of 18 years who travel into or out of South Africa need the consent of both their parents, and to produce a full birth certificate at a port of entry.
